Vehicle armored using ballistics material to defeat the above mentioned standard of CEN BR6 in transparent and non-transparent areas
TRANSPARENT ARMOR (GLASS)
Troy Armoring uses a combination of Glass, Polycarbonate and Mylar that are bonded and heat presses together using the latest technology available by a Tier 1 Supplier which is certified by government agencies worldwide along with OEM armored automobile manufacturers.
• Door glass replaced with transparent armor (glass) OEM curved shape
• Windshield replaced with transparent armor (glass) OEM curved shape
• Rear quarter glass OEM with armored glass insert behind original glass, framed with steel plate
• Rear door kept original. Armored bulkhead swing door behind original door with large glass insert in wall (fixed). Bulk head to be professionally finished to match interior of vehicle
• All glass to have overlap system around each window with returns. This ensures complete protection from spacing between armor plate and transparent armor

NON TRANSPARENT ARMOR (BALLISTIC PANELS)
Troy Armoring uses a combination of certified high hard steel plate and composite materials in certain areas of the vehicle to allow a greater center of gravity when maneuvering. All materials are certified and tested by heat lots where tractability is crucial by a Tier 1 Supplier..
Doors
• All four (4) doors armored using ballistic plate
• All doors to have overlap system with returns to ensures complete protection from spacing between armor plate and transparent armor
• Door pillars (A,B,C and D) reinforced throughout with ballistic plate
• Rear door kept original. Armored bulkhead swing door behind original door with large glass insert in wall (fixed). Bulk head to be professionally finished to match interior of vehicle
• Door hinges reinforced from interior of door and frame of vehicle to reduce stress of weight added
• Heavy duty door straps added on all doors to allow no over extension
Firewall
• Firewall armored throughout with ballistic steel plate
Roof
• Entire roof area interior armored throughout using ballistic steel plate contoured to interior of roof
Floor
• Floor armored using material that acts as an absorbent for mild blast throughout with solid welds. Floor armored to protect against 2-DM 51 Grenades
Engine Compartment
• Battery and PCU (computer) armored with ballistic steel plate

• Run-Flats installed in all full size tires

OEM Appearance of the Vehicle after Armoring:
• Original interior panels shall be modified as necessary, and reinstalled wherever design permits, to maintain vehicle’s original appearance
• Overlaps, windshield frame, rear bulkhead shall be re-upholstered using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, matching OEM colors and quality as close as possible
• OEM air conditioning and heater vents shall remain operable, Original interior panels shall be modified as necessary, and reinstalled wherever design permits, to maintain vehicle’s original appearance
Electrical
• Troy Armoring completes a thorough test of all electrical equipment with our in house Electrical Vehicle Engineer that is standard to the vehicle and proceeds with modifications. Any additional (optional) electric equipment installed on the vehicle by Troy Armoring shall be fused, loomed and professionally labeled.
